Day 1
Place & Transport:
Arrive in Shanghai.
Today's Activities:
Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai)
Detailed Itinerary:
On your arrival in airport, you will be transferred to the hotel, and the rest of time is your own time. Shanghai is the largest economic and trade center, a comprehensive industrial base and the leading port in China. Its phenomenal mixture of space-age buildings, gorgeous shops, and the remnants of the old Concession areas allures many tourists from home and abroad.

Day 2

Today's Activities:
Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Market, The Bund, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Jiangnan Silk Museum

Detailed Itinerary:
We start the day by visiting the lovely old Yuyuan Garden, the most famous garden in Shanghai, which is decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. It is also a shopper's paradise for there are many small shops carrying everything from furniture to porcelain. Then we step onto Yu Market, which is a busy market today, specializing in traditional arts and crafts. Outside, however, it still looks like a temple. We will stop here for a while to give you time to browse the stalls. After that, you will pay a visit to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. This is a fascinating insight into Shanghai’s future. The 2nd floor has a giant walk around model of the city, and other floors have great displays, interactive exhibitions and walkthroughs of aspects such as the ports, greening, leisure etc. The last stop is the Bund. It was once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, with futuristic old European-style buildings, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do – and by night it's magic!

Day 3
Place & Transport:
Shanghai to Suzhou
Today's Activities:
The Grand Canal, Humble Administrator's Garden, Rickshaw ride

Detailed Itinerary:
On arrival in Suzhou, we will first the Grand Canal, which ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in the world. Cruising on the Canal, you can see the local peoples' life. Then we step onto Humble Administrator's Garden. The garden is the best representative of Chinese classical gardens, constructed in the Ming dynasty, which focuses on a central pond with pavilions, terraces, chambers, and towers located nearby. Today you will experience a Rickshaw ride. Through the old streets & Hutongs in Suzhou, you will know more about local people's life.

Day 4
Place & Transport:

Hotel to Train station Transfer (Suzhou), Train station to Hotel Transfer (Hangzhou), Lingering Garden, Panmen Gate, The No.1 Silk Factory

Detailed Itinerary:
Lingering Garden is our first stop. Suzhou is famous for its gardens. Lingering Garden is an elaborate succession of small gardens. Lingering in a garden you will marvel at its unique architecture and art. It has wonderful covered walkways, carved corridors, elaborately shaped doorways and perfect viewpoints for a variety of perspectives on this special garden. After that we will visit Panmen Gate. It is an ancient city gate with land and water entrances. Much restored, this is one of the last remaining land and water gates in China, once a vital part of Suzhou’s defenses. The view from the top across the town’s rooftops and distant pagodas is the entire better because of strict local rules regarding building height and design. Finally, we arrive at The No.1 Silk Factory: Suzhou is famous for its silk products. Tourists may go and see how the silk is processed from worm to the final product, and some of the silk history of in China. There's also an opportunity to buy something beautiful from the showroom, or just enjoy the goods on display. Finally, we will head for Hangzhou by train. Evening is your own time.

Day 5

Today's Activities:
Lingyin Temple/ Monastery of the Hidden Souls, Cruise on the West Lake
Meals:

Detailed Itinerary:
On arrival in Hangzhou, we will start our trip from Lingyin Temple/ Monastery of the Hidden Souls, which is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist literature and treasures situated in front of Lingyin Temple, is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures, which dated from the 10th to 14th centuries.
After that, we will step onto West Lake. Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. Moreover, you can enjoy a wonderful cruise on this world-famous scenery.

Day 6

Hangzhou to Yellow Mountain, Express Bus
Today's Activities:
Hotel to bus station Transfer (Hangzhou), Express bus station to Hotel Transfer (Yellow Mountain), Meijiawu Tea Plantation, Qinghefang Pedestrian Street

Detailed Itinerary:
On arrival in Huangshan, Meijiawu Tea Plantation is our first destination. It is seated at the hinterland of West Lake Park and it boasts the most important tea production basis. Here you are in an original natural environment, just relax your feelings and enjoy the special tea culture, taste the fragrant tea while appreciating the beautiful village scenery. Afterwards, we will arrange you to Qinghefang Pedestrian Street. The street illustrates the long history of Hangzhou in a nutshell. The 460m long, slab-stone street is filled with well preserved ancient two story buildings with traditional red lantern decoration the fronts. Traditional businesses like Chinese Medicine Pharmacies and tea houses operate in the same way as they have done for centuries and museums of many kinds – coin, china and antiques illustrate life in times past. It's a wonderful place for a stroll.

Day 7
Place & Transport:
Yellow Mountain
Today's Activities:
Huangshan Scenic area, Yungu New Cable Car
Meals:
Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner
Detailed Itinerary:
Today we will first visit Huangshan Scenic area. Located in the south of Anhui Province, with an area of about 1,200 square kilometers, known as 'the loveliest mountain in China”, famous for magnificent scenery whatever the season: granite peaks piercing the clouds, strangely shaped rocks and gnarled trees, hot springs, waterfalls, wonderful outlooks and over 1500 plant species. No traffic within the core area of about 150 square kilometers, accessible by cable car or on foot. Many enticing walks of all grades all include some steps. By the way, you can enjoy the scenery along the way to the yellow mountain by cable car.

Day 8

Airport Transfer (Yellow Mountain), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai), Yungu New Cable Car, Hongcun Village

Detailed Itinerary:
After breakfast, you will go down the mountain by cable car, and enjoy the scenery along the way. After that, we will visit Hongcun Village. It's located in the place which is about 10 kilometers off the northeast part of Yixian County. An ancient town over 800 years old leaning against Mt. Huangshan, it is folded in the fog of the Mt. which makes it look like a river and mountain picture. It enjoys the reputation of 'The Chinese town in the pictures'. Especially, the whole town distributes like a 'cow', which made it one of the wonders in the world culture heritage. The famous film 'Crouching Tiger' was made here. It has been listed by UNESCO for its beauty and largely undeveloped traditional streets and houses. Various halls, dwellings and an old school are open to visitors.

We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
Transfers:
Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Xian, Shanghai by shared coach with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above). Your comfort is our priority!
Guide:
As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
Hotels:
Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
